Project Engineer / Site Construction Manager in Dammam

We are looking for a practical, hands-on Project Engineer / Site Construction Manager to join our team for an upcoming industrial construction project in Dammam.

The preferred candidate should be a Civil Engineer with strong site execution experience, and should also have good practical knowledge of electrical and mechanical works in construction projects. The role requires someone who can manage site activities directly, coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and client representatives, and follow up daily progress, quality, safety, materials, and schedule requirements.

This position is suitable for someone who can work in a growing SME company environment, take responsibility, solve site issues, and be directly involved in project execution rather than only office coordination.

Requirements:

* Civil Engineering degree is preferred

* 7–12 years of experience in construction projects

* Previous experience in industrial, warehouse, steel structure, infrastructure, or similar construction projects is required

* Good practical knowledge of MEP works, especially electrical, plumbing, firefighting, HVAC coordination, and authority requirements

* Ability to read and understand drawings, BOQ, specifications, shop drawings, and technical submittals

* Strong experience in site coordination, subcontractor management, and daily execution follow-up

* Ability to monitor project schedule, manpower, materials, productivity, and site progress

* Good reporting and documentation skills

* Good communication skills in both Arabic and English

* Ability to work under pressure and take ownership of site execution

* Transferable Iqama is mandatory

* Available to join within a reasonable period

Responsibilities:

* Manage daily site activities and site teams

* Coordinate civil, architectural, steel structure, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, firefighting, and finishing works

* Follow up subcontractors, suppliers, manpower, equipment, and material delivery

* Review drawings, BOQ, specifications, and project documents

* Coordinate with consultant and client representatives for inspections and approvals

* Support procurement, material submittals, method statements, shop drawings, and technical coordination

* Monitor project schedule, progress, quality, safety, and site issues

* Prepare daily and weekly progress reports

* Identify site risks, delays, missing materials, and coordination issues early

* Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements
