Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site System Administrator — L3 role based in Jubail. The System Administrator — L3 is responsible for managing and evolving the organization’s hybrid server and endpoint infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments. Daily work includes administering Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, VMware vSphere, and Microsoft 365, while ensuring system reliability, security hardening, and patch compliance across all platforms. The role involves ownership of endpoint management through SCCM and Intune, automation of administrative tasks using PowerShell and Ansible, and coordination of vulnerability remediation based on Tenable scan findings. The System Administrator — L3 will collaborate with network and security teams on infrastructure projects, support compliance reviews, and maintain comprehensive system documentation and runbooks.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 — AD DS, DNS, DHCP, GPO, PKI, IIS, Failover Clustering

Hands-on experience with Linux environments — RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS — shell scripting, systemd, OS hardening

Proven experience with Azure AD / Entra ID — hybrid join, Conditional Access, MFA, SSPR — and Microsoft 365 administration

Solid experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi — VM provisioning, vMotion, DRS, HA — and Microsoft Hyper-V

Proficiency in SCCM and Microsoft Intune — endpoint deployment, patching, and compliance policy management

Advanced PowerShell scripting — automation, reporting, and administrative task management

Experience with server monitoring platforms — SCOM, Zabbix, Azure Monitor — and Tenable/Qualys vulnerability remediation

Certifications such as AZ-800/801, AZ-104, RHCSA/RHCE, or VMware VCP-DCV are preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent professional experience

5–10 years of hands-on enterprise systems administration experience
