Job Title: DSV (Decision Support & Visualization) Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced DSV Engineer to join our Engineering Delivery department. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of Business Intelligence and workflow solutions for manufacturing organizations in the Oil & Gas / Petrochemicals industry. You will work as a subject matter expert (SME) alongside cross-functional delivery teams, bridging the gap between industrial data and executive decision-making. If you have deep expertise in Power BI, data pipelines, and the downstream refining/NGL space, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

Build a thorough understanding of project data analytics and visualization needs.

Lead the design, build, testing, and deployment of BI solutions to clients.

Perform data availability assessments and implement robust processes for timely identification, collection, and validation of relevant datasets.

Work with client stakeholders to understand business processes and define key metric requirements.

Support the sales team by participating in proposal preparation, estimates, and scoping.

Provide mentorship to engineers and associate engineers on the team.

Evaluate and recommend best-in-class technologies in the BI and data management market.

What You Bring (Qualifications & Requirements)

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

7+ years of relevant, proven experience handling similar responsibilities.

Minimum Technical Requirements:

Category Skills/Technologies

BI & Visualization Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SSRS

Data Management Data Warehousing, Data Lake technologies, ETL/ELT processes

Querying & Modeling Advanced SQL, data modeling, common analytics toolsets

Web Application Development .NET, Blazor, Entity Framework

Data Orchestration Biztalk (some experience)

Industrial Domain Strong knowledge of Oil/Gas/Petrochemical domain

Manufacturing Systems MES, Visualization & Analytics for industrial use cases (preferably Downstream Refining & NGL)

Data Pipelines Design, build, and optimization of data pipelines

Full Lifecycle Experience developing and implementing BI/analytics solutions at scale

Large Datasets Highly proficient in manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets (near real-time or event-driven data is a plus)

Analytical & Leadership Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Leadership skills and ability to guide junior engineers

Communication Skills:

Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal)

Preferences (Highly Valued)

Good knowledge of IMOMS (Industrial Manufacturing Operations Management System)
