Planning Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Project Scheduling & Planning: Develop, update, and maintain detailed, resource-loaded project schedules (e.g., Gantt charts, CPM networks).

• Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track actual progress against the baseline, producing monthly progress reports,, and identifying variances

.

• Resource Coordination: Allocate manpower, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient operations.

• Risk Management & Mitigation: Proactively identify project roadblocks and develop contingency plans to keep projects on track.

• Stakeholder Management: Communicate with clients, project managers, and site teams regarding schedules, changes, and progress.

• Cost Control & Documentation: Analyze technical drawings for, cost estimates, and maintain records such as meeting minutes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant field.

• Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project).

• Experience: 3–8 years in project planning, construction, or technical, industry-specific roles.

• Competencies: Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Must have a valid and transferable iqama.
