Irrigation System Maintenance Technician in Khobar

Job Purpose

The Irrigation System Maintenance Technician is responsible for the operation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of irrigation and landscape watering systems at our client facilities in Al-Khobar. The role ensures efficient water usage, system reliability, and compliance with safety and maintenance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain automatic and manual irrigation systems, including:

o Sprinklers

o Drip irrigation systems

o Control valves

o Pumps

o Timers and controllers

• Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper water distribution and system performance.

• Adjust irrigation schedules based on seasonal and landscape requirements.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily maintenance logs and work reports.

• Record spare parts usage and report material requirements.

• Assist in preparing maintenance reports for management review.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Diploma / ITI / Technical Certificate in:

o Irrigation Systems

o Plumbing

o Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance

Experience

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in:

o Irrigation system maintenance

o Landscape watering systems

o Facilities or government projects (preferred)

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of:

o Irrigation layouts and control systems

o Pumps, valves, and controllers

o Basic electrical connections related to irrigation
