URGENTLY REQUIRED – Leading Piping Engineer in Abqaiq

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Piping Engineer to lead piping engineering and site execution activities for Saudi Aramco Groundwater Wells and Water Infrastructure projects. The role requires strong site leadership, hands-on experience in water / pipeline projects, and the ability to interface effectively with Saudi Aramco and EPC stakeholders.

This position is site-focused and suitable for professionals with solid exposure to buried pipelines, wellhead piping, manifolds, and pump-related piping systems.

Core Responsibilities

???? Engineering & Design Leadership

Lead and review piping layouts, isometrics, and general arrangement drawings for groundwater wells and water facilities.

Ensure full compliance with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), SAEP, and SAMSS.

Review and approve material selection for water service piping

Provide technical guidance on piping design philosophy, including buried and above-ground piping.

???? Groundwater Wells & Water Systems Scope

Lead piping activities related to:

Wellhead piping and tie-ins

Pump suction and discharge piping

Manifolds, headers, and valve assemblies

Chlorination and injection piping

Support design and execution of buried pipelines, including thrust blocks, anchors, and road crossings.

Review hydrotest, flushing, and disinfection procedures for water pipelines.

???? Construction & Site Execution

Lead piping discipline activities at site and resolve construction and installation issues.

Coordinate closely with Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams.

Review and approve method statements, work procedures, and ITPs.

Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

10–15 years of experience in piping engineering and construction.

Proven experience on Saudi Aramco projects (direct or through EPC).

Strong exposure to water infrastructure / groundwater wells / pipeline projects.

Solid site execution and leadership experience.
