Waste management supervisor

– Purpose of this job is to oversee the cleaning services of the external areas and to oversee the waste disposal operations of all project buildings and commercial areas within the responsibility. This includes supervising custodial service contractors and ensuring all project premises are maintained, cleaned and serviced as per agreed scope and schedules and up to the required standards at all times.
1.        Review and observe workers during their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
2.        Investigates complaints regarding service and equipment, and takes corrective action.
3.        Makes recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation.
4.        Attends Department meetings to discuss work and patrons’ complaints.
5.         Supervise staff while they are performing their duties.
6.         Understand how everything operates at site
7.        Understand all health and safety issues with regards to staff and self.
8.        To review service provider cleaning plans and be sure work is going on as per schedules
9.        Follow up the Implementation of action plans following audit findings to rectify any areas of concern through the Supervisor and Senior Domestics and ensure standards are consistently met in the future
10.         Monitor, address and report on service delivery, including the collation of daily check lists, audit results and action plans.
11.        To makes sure that all chuting rooms internal and at -2 are working probably.
12.        Supervise all trucks compactors schedules and maintenance.
13.        Be sure that all required trucks permissions are ready and complete before the beginning of heavy times.
14.        Report any comments regarding daily work to custodial manager.
15.        Provide custodial manager with daily, monthly report about the work accomplishments
16.        Follow up maintenance schedules for all cradles

Requirements

• Ability to interact with external parties and utilize internal resources or systems for better usage of resources.
• Experience of managing a large and busy team.
• Knowledge and experience of cleaning operations on a significant scale.
