HSE Engineer (T&C) with Solar Experience

1.Lead and participate in safety reviews like Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR), and detailed Job Safety Analyses (JSA) or Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS) for all commissioning tasks.

2. Manage and enforce the PTW system, ensuring that all necessary safety precautions and isolations (like Lockout/Tagout – LOTO) are in place before authorizing high-risk activities.

3. Review commissioning, pre-commissioning, and operational procedures to ensure safety protocols and environmental mitigations are explicitly included.

4. Conduct detailed site inspections and audits to verify that all HSE procedures, legal regulations, and company policies are being strictly followed during testing and system energization.

5. Monitor subcontractors and vendor teams during their commissioning activities to ensure their work methods and equipment are compliant and safe.

6. Ensure full compliance with all local, national, and international health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to the commissioning process.

7. Organize and deliver Toolbox Talks and specific HSE training sessions for the commissioning team and other personnel, focusing on the unique hazards of the start-up phase (e.g., live systems, chemical handling, pressure testing).

8. Implement and participate in the development and execution of Emergency Response Plans and drills (e.g., fire, evacuation, spill response) specific to the commissioned facility.

9. Act as a key participant or leader in investigating all incidents, accidents, and near-misses during commissioning, determining root causes, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
