Job Description – Fitness Trainer (9ROUND)

Job Summary

As a 9ROUND Trainer, your primary mission is to make members “stronger in 30 minutes, physically and mentally.” You are responsible for delivering all 9ROUND workouts safely, effectively, and with high energy, supporting studio growth through membership sales, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training & Coaching

Member Engagement: Welcome all members, especially new clients. Introduce them to the required workout gloves and hand wraps, inform visitors about the free trial session, and assist with registration and participation.

Leading 9ROUND Circuits: Actively participate with members throughout the workout to ensure all 9ROUND circuits are performed correctly, including strength, kickboxing, core, and free exercises, providing guidance and support.

Demonstration: Clearly explain and demonstrate proper form for the Workout of the Day (WOD).

Motivation: Provide high-energy encouragement to keep members engaged and help them maintain their heart rate during the workout.

Safety: Correct form and provide modifications for members with varying fitness levels or injuries.

2. Sales & Growth

Lead Conversion: Conduct first-time introductory workouts and convert prospects into long-term members.

Membership Sales: Achieve monthly sales targets and follow up with leads via phone or text messages.

Community Outreach: Assist with local marketing events and social media content creation.

Team Initiative & Collaboration: Take initiative and actively collaborate with the team and management to deliver exceptional member service and achieve financial targets.

3. Studio Operations

Cleaning: Follow a strict scheduled cleaning program to ensure all bags, mats, and equipment are properly sanitized.

Maintenance: Ensure the facility is well-organized and ready for the next round.

Front Desk: Manage member check-ins, retail sales (gloves, wraps, apparel), and administrative tasks.

Member Support: Assist members with app usage, check-ins, membership freezes, and any technical or account-related inquiries, referring to the direct manager or responsible staff when follow-up is required

Requirements & Qualifications

High Energy: An outgoing and energetic personality is often more important than prior experience.

Physical Fitness: Ability to demonstrate all exercises and remain active during 8 hour shifts.

Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex movements in a simple and clear manner.
