Company Description:

Offshore Fabrication Company (OFC), located in Ras Al Khair, specializes in oil and gas fabrication services. Our core capabilities include pipe spool fabrication, steel structure fabrication, and onshore demolition of oil and gas facilities.

Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Procurement Buyer, based in Ras Al Khair. The Procurement Buyer will be responsible for managing purchase orders, coordinating procurement activities, evaluating supplier performance, and ensuring cost-effective sourcing of materials and services. The role requires close collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders to support project requirements while maintaining compliance with company policies and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase goods, materials, components, and services in line with approved cost, quality, and delivery targets

• Support the purchasing function and coordinate with relevant departments, communicating any supply issues that may impact operations

• Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams on purchasing processes, new projects, and ongoing activities

• Raise Purchase Requisitions (PRs), obtain a minimum of three supplier quotations, and prepare comparative analyses

• Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms of business with suppliers to achieve cost savings and improved commercial conditions

• Apply procurement best practices and negotiation strategies to optimize purchasing efficiency

• Prepare, review, and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with company procedures

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in purchasing and procurement processes, including purchase order management

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess supplier performance, pricing, and contractual terms

• Excellent communication and coordination skills for effective interaction with suppliers and internal stakeholders

• Solid understanding of procurement best practices within a manufacturing or fabrication environment

• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities

• Experience in the oil & gas, energy, or fabrication industry is an advantage

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred

• Working knowledge of procurement software and systems is an added advantage
