The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production activities in the salad and fruit processing facility. This includes ensuring that all products are prepared, washed, sanitized, cut, packed, and stored according to company standards and HACCP food safety guidelines. The role involves managing production staff, maintaining quality, efficiency, and hygiene standards, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Management
• Supervise daily production operations for salad and fruit lines to meet production targets and customer orders.
• Allocate tasks to team members and monitor workflow to ensure efficiency and minimal downtime.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely supply of raw materials.
• Monitor waste levels and implement measures to minimize product losses.
• Verify that all weighing, mixing, cutting, and packing activities are carried out according to specifications.
2. Quality & HACCP Compliance
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and food safety standards at every stage of production.
• Conduct regular hygiene and safety inspections of equipment, tools, and production areas.
• Make sure that cleaning and sanitation procedures are properly followed at the start and end of each shift.
• Complete and maintain production and quality control records, including temperature logs, sanitation checklists, and traceability forms.
• Report any non-conformities, contamination risks, or quality deviations immediately to the Production Manager and Quality Department.
3. Staff Supervision & Training
• Supervise production workers and ensure adherence to company policies, safety rules, and hygiene practices.
• Conduct on-the-job training for new staff on handling produce, operating machinery, and following hygiene standards.
• Monitor worker performance, attendance, and discipline; escalate issues as needed.
• Encourage teamwork and maintain a positive, safe working environment.
4. Equipment & Facility Maintenance
• Ensure that all machines, cutting tools, and chillers are functioning properly and maintained according to schedule.
• Report maintenance needs promptly to avoid production delays or product contamination.
• Ensure safe use of machinery and compliance with workplace safety procedures.
5. Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain accurate records of production output, raw material usage, wastage, and staff attendance.
• Prepare daily production and yield reports for management review.
• Assist in internal and external audits (HACCP, ISO, client audits).
Key Skills & Competencies:
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food hygiene standards.
• Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize under pressure.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Basic computer literacy (Excel, reporting systems, etc.).
Qualifications & Experience:
• Experience in a food processing or salad/fruit production environment.
• HACCP certification is a must.
– Experience supervising a team in a fast-paced, chilled food production setting.
Compensation:
2700 SAR basic salary
300 SAR food allowance
TOTAL: 3,000 SAR
Shared Accommodation provided at company premises.
