Logistics Officer

Job Responsibilities:

Arranging the required Vehicle as per transportation requisition form/mail from the buyer/Project Team

Finalizing annual Rate contract with transporter with cost optimization

Co-ordinating with transporter for placing the vehicle at the required place

Co-ordinating with Supplier , Store /Planning persons for loading/unloading of the material from vehicle within free time to avoid vehicle detention charges.

Handling the ODC movement of cargo

Maintaining POD/Delivery Note against delivery of every consignment

Developing vendor base of transporter

Preparing Work Order (WO) in SAP for bill booking of transporter

Co-ordinating with Site person for service entry in SAP

Co-ordinating with finance team for the timely payment of the transporter.

Maintaining MIS for the local movement/ bills of the transporter

Qualification: Graduation in any discipline, preferably in Logistics. Certification in Supply Chain Management is an added advantage

Experience: 4 years. Saudi experience is mandatory
