COMMIS 1 Cook for a Japanese Brand Café & Lounge

📍 Location: Riyadh/ Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia

A prestigious and well-known Japanese Café & Lounge brand is seeking a talented, passionate, and experienced CommisI to join our growing culinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes in accordance with company standards and recipes.

• Assist in the daily operation of the kitchen and ensure smooth food preparation.

• Maintain consistency, quality, and portion control in all food items.

• Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of food products.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with food safety regulations.

• Support senior chefs in menu preparation and kitchen organization.

• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Commis1 Cook or similar role in restaurant, café, or hospitality establishment

• Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine, ingredients, and food preparation techniques.

• Experience in preparing sushi, sashimi, hot kitchen items, or Japanese café dishes is an advantage.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
