Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our organization’s IT infrastructure. The IT Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of systems, networks, and applications while providing technical support to internal users.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain IT systems, networks, and servers

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues

Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems, applications, and IT equipment

Ensure data security, system backups, and disaster recovery procedures are in place

Manage user accounts, access rights, and system permissions

Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps

Ensure compliance with company policies and IT security standards

Participate in IT projects, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Proven experience as an IT Engineer or similar role

Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)

Experience with networking concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)

Familiarity with hardware, servers, and virtualization technologies

Understanding of IT security best practices

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

Knowledge of scripting or automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python)

Experience with monitoring tools and ticketing systems

Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, etc.)

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Good communication and documentation abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Work Environment

Office, hybrid, or remote depending on company needs

May require occasional after-hours support or on-call rotation
