Quantity Surveyor (QS Engineer) in Riyadh

Position: Quantity Surveyor (QS Engineer)

Location: Saudi Arabia

Salary Range: 4,000 – 6,000 SAR (Depending on experience)

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or MEP Engineering.

Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Saudi Arabia.

Registered or eligible for registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).

Strong knowledge in BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, cost estimation, and rate analysis.

Experience in preparing payment certificates, variation orders, and subcontractor invoices evaluation.

Good understanding of contract documents, drawings, and project specifications.

Experience in MEP and/or Civil works is preferred.

Proficiency in using QS and technical software (AutoCAD, Excel, cost-estimation tools).

Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for civil and MEP works.

Assist in preparing and reviewing BOQs, quotations, and cost breakdowns.

Coordinate with site engineers to verify actual progress and executed quantities.

Evaluate subcontractor offers and prepare comparison sheets.

Prepare interim payment applications and assist in final account preparation.

Support project team with cost control, budgeting, and documentation.
