Contract Manager (Claims Specialist) in Dammam

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager (Claims Specialist) to join our project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all contractual and claim-related matters, particularly those involving Aramco projects. The role requires strong expertise in claim preparation, evaluation, negotiation, and coordination with both the Client (Owner) and Aramco representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, evaluate, and defend contractual claims, variations, and extension of time (EOT) submissions.

Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and clients for claim documentation and justifications.

Review and interpret contract terms, conditions, and obligations.

Negotiate and resolve disputes in alignment with company and client interests.

Prepare claim reports, correspondence, and presentations for management and clients.

Liaise with Aramco PMT/PMC on contractual and commercial issues.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.

Minimum 8 years of experience in contract administration and claims management, including at least 3 years with Aramco projects.

Strong understanding of FIDIC, Aramco contract procedures, and Saudi construction laws.

Proven track record in claim preparation, cost/time analysis, and negotiation with Owners/Clients.

Excellent communication and report writing skills in English.

Preferred:

Candidates with previous experience in EPC or Building Construction Projects under Aramco.

Arabic language ability will be an advantage.
