Calibration Technical Lead (Laboratory Operations) (Senior Calibration Engineer – ISO/IEC) in Jubail

We are looking for an experienced Calibration Technical Lead to take ownership of laboratory-based calibration activities in an ISO/IEC 17025–accredited environment. This is a hands-on, technically demanding role requiring deep metrology expertise, strong documentation control, and independent technical judgment.

???? Key Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee laboratory calibration of pressure, temperature, electrical, dimensional, and analytical instruments

• Handle complex and non-routine calibrations independently

• Review calibration data, calculations, and measurement uncertainty

• Approve and release calibration certificates and technical reports

• Ensure full traceability to national/international standards

• Implement and maintain ISO/IEC 17025 technical compliance

• Prepare SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation

• Support audits, proficiency testing, and corrective actions

• Guide and mentor technicians and junior engineers

???? Qualifications

Essential

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechatronics Engineering

• 5+ years experience in a calibration laboratory

• Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 technical requirements

• Proven experience in laboratory calibration & uncertainty estimation

• Ability to independently review and approve results

Preferred

• Experience with ISO-accredited labs (SAAC, IAS, NABL, UKAS, etc.)

• Industrial calibration exposure (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Utilities)

• Familiarity with laboratory management and certificate control systems
