Senior Estimation Engineer in Jubail

Job Summary:

Senior Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, tender documents, bid analysis, and project budgeting for Aramco and non-Aramco industrial, construction, mechanical, piping, civil, electrical, and maintenance projects. The role involves reviewing project specifications, drawings, BOQ, and contract documents to ensure competitive and profitable project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimation for Aramco and non-Aramco projects including civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, shutdown, and maintenance works.

Review RFQ, ITB, drawings, scope of work, specifications, and client requirements.

Quantity take-off from drawings and technical documents.

Prepare BOQ, material costing, manpower costing, equipment costing, and subcontractor evaluations.

Coordinate with procurement, engineering, construction, and project teams for accurate pricing.

Analyze vendor and subcontractor quotations for cost optimization.

Prepare technical and commercial proposals as per tender requirements.

Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, SATIP, SAES, GI, and project specifications.

Conduct site visits when required for project assessment and estimation accuracy.

Develop cost control strategies and support project budget monitoring.

Maintain estimation database, historical cost records, and market price analysis.

Participate in tender clarifications, bid meetings, and client discussions.

Support management in project feasibility studies and risk assessment.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Civil / Electrical Engineering or related field.

Minimum 8–12 years of experience in estimation for industrial, oil & gas, EPC, shutdown, maintenance, and construction projects.

Strong experience in Saudi Aramco project estimation is preferred.

Knowledge of Aramco standards, vendor registration, and bidding procedures.

Proficiency in estimation software, Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP systems.

Excellent knowledge of material pricing, labor productivity, and project costing.

Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to handle multiple tenders under tight deadlines.
