SENIOR ACCOUNTANT FOR A LEADING TRADING COMPANY in Jeddah

We are a well-established trading company in Saudi Arabia, dealing in diversified product categories. We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team and contribute to accurate financial reporting, compliance, and overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial statements and accounting records.

Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end/year-end closing.

Ensure compliance with Saudi Zakat, VAT, and other relevant tax regulations.

Prepare and file Zakat and VAT returns in accordance with ZATCA guidelines.

Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.

Perform financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer accounts.

Monitor inventory accounting and cost controls.

Implement and improve accounting policies, systems, and procedures.

Assist management with financial insights for decision-making.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA is an added advantage).

Minimum 7-10 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a trading or distribution environment.

Strong knowledge of Saudi Zakat & VAT laws, filing procedures, and compliance.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems, SAP, Oracle, or similar).

Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Fluency in English & Arabic
