Land Transportation Coordinator in Manama

We are hiring Land Transport Coordinator for an leading logistics company in Bahrain.

Salary : Negotiable

Duty Hours : 8 Hours

No of Working Days : 26 Days

Accommodation & Transportation provided by the company

Candidates should have knowledge about routes and documents clearance.

The core duties and responsibilities :

Route Planning & Scheduling: Designing the most cost-effective and efficient delivery routes to minimize fuel consumption and transit times.

Tracking & Monitoring: Utilizing GPS and Transport Management Systems (TMS) to track vehicle locations and actively reroute drivers around traffic or delays.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all vehicles and drivers comply with local road regulations, weight limits, and driving-hour restrictions.

Driver & Fleet Management: Assigning routes, monitoring pre-trip inspections, logging vehicle defects, and scheduling routine maintenance.

Issue Resolution: Acting as the central point of contact to troubleshoot delays, handle lost or damaged cargo claims, and quickly resolve unexpected logistical hurdles.

Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of mileage, driver logs, delivery receipts (POD), and fuel reports for billing and payroll.
