Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CAD Draftsman to join our team in Dammam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and designs for trailers, tankers, and other metal fabrication products. The draftsman will work closely with engineers and production teams to ensure accuracy and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 2D and 3D CAD drawings for trailers, tankers, and metal structures.

• Prepare detailed fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and bill of materials (BOM).

• Modify and update designs based on project requirements and feedback.

• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company specifications.

• Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and clients to refine designs.

• Assist in calculating material requirements and optimizing designs for production efficiency.

• Maintain accurate records of revisions and design modifications.

• Support the R&D team in developing new product designs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in CAD drafting, preferably in trailer or tanker manufacturing.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

• Strong knowledge of trailer chassis fabrication, welding symbols, and engineering standards.

• Understanding of material properties (mild steel, stainless steel) and manufacturing processes.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in structural analysis and finite element modelling (FEM) is a plus.

• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems in trailers/tankers.

• Familiarity with ASME, AWS, and ISO standards related to metal fabrication.
