Accounts Executive in Manama

About the Role

At FY Advertising, we move fast and create big things. We are looking for an organized and sharp Accounts Executive to manage our agency’s financial heartbeat. This isn’t just about data entry; it’s about managing the flow of our creative projects, ensuring our vendors are happy, and our client billing is spot-on.

Key Responsibilities

– Project Accounting: Manage billings for various creative campaigns, ensuring all agency fees and third-party costs are captured.

– Payables & Receivables: Track client payments and manage payments to our media partners, printers, and freelancers.

– VAT Management: Handle Bahrain VAT filing and ensure all tax invoices are compliant with NBR (National Bureau for Revenue) standards.

– Budget Tracking: Assist Account Managers in tracking project budgets to ensure our campaigns stay profitable.

– Financial Reporting: Prepare weekly cash flow reports and monthly profit/loss statements for management.

Requirements

– Experience: 2+ years in an accounting role. Agency experience is a huge advantage as you’ll understand “billable hours” and “media markups.”

– Software: Proficiency in MS Excel is a must. Experience with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books) is preferred.

– Knowledge: Solid understanding of Bahrain’s VAT laws and general accounting principles.

– Personality: You should be someone who can talk to both a creative designer and a bank manager with equal ease. High attention to detail is non-negotiable!
