Job Title: RTR QC Inspector

Project Requirement: Must have Previous Aramco Approval as RTR Inspector

Department: Quality Control

Job Summary:

The RTR QC Inspector is responsible for inspection, testing, and quality assurance of Reinforced Thermosetting Resin (RTR / GRP / GRE) piping systems in accordance with Aramco standards, project specifications, and international codes. The candidate must have prior approval as an RTR Inspector by Saudi Aramco and demonstrate thorough knowledge of Aramco engineering standards and quality requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Perform inspection of RTR/GRP/GRE piping installation, jointing, and testing activities.

* Verify materials upon receipt in accordance with approved material submittals and Aramco standards.

* Inspect surface preparation, alignment, joint assembly, adhesive bonding, and curing processes.

* Witness hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing of RTR piping systems.

* Review and verify compliance with IFC drawings, method statements, ITPs, and Aramco standards.

* Ensure proper storage, handling, and installation practices of RTR materials.

* Monitor contractor activities to ensure adherence to approved quality procedures.

* Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality documentation records.

* Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when deviations are identified.

* Coordinate with client representatives, including Saudi Aramco inspectors.

* Ensure compliance with safety requirements during inspection activities.

* Participate in internal and external audits as required.

**Required Qualifications**

* Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

* Valid Saudi Aramco approval as RTR QC Inspector (mandatory).

* Minimum 5–7 years of experience in RTR/GRP/GRE piping inspection.

* Previous experience in Saudi Aramco projects is mandatory.

* Strong knowledge of:

* Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES)

* SAIC and SATIP requirements

* ASTM, AWWA, ISO standards related to RTR systems

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and isometrics.

* Familiarity with hydrotesting procedures and documentation requirements.

**Certifications (Preferred)**

* CBT/Aramco SAP Number (RTR category)

* ISO 9001 awareness

* NDT Level II (preferred but not mandatory)

* OSHA / Safety Certification

**Skills & Competencies**

* Strong attention to detail

* Good communication and reporting skills

* Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines

* Good coordination skills with construction and client teams

* Proficient in MS Office and documentation control systems

**Working Conditions**

* Site-based role

* May require extended working hours depending on project requirements

* Exposure to outdoor site conditions
