Electrical Technician (HVAC-MEP-SOLAR Systems) in Jubail

Job Responsibilities – Electrical Technician (HVAC-MEP-Solar Systems)

1. Electrical Installation & Execution

• Install, test, and commission electrical systems related to HVAC & MEP works.

• Install power wiring, control wiring, conduits, cable trays, trunking, sockets, panels, and DBs as per approved drawings in HVAC, MEP or Solar Project works.

• Execute electrical connections for HVAC equipment such as AHUs, FCUs, FAHUs, Chillers, Pumps, VRF/VRV, Split units, Exhaust/Fresh air fans, Motors, etc.

• Ensure proper earthing/grounding, isolation, and compliance with electrical safety standards.

2. DDC & BMS Related Work

• Install, terminate, and test DDC panels, BMS field devices, controllers, I/O modules, and communication cables.

• Wire and terminate temperature sensors, pressure sensors, humidity sensors, actuators, valves, VFD interfaces, relays, and safety interlocks.

• Read control schematics, point lists, wiring diagram, and logic diagrams for DDC/BMS systems.

• Assist controls engineers during startup, calibration, loop checks, point testing, and commissioning.

• Ensure proper labeling, routing, and segregation of low-voltage and control wiring.

3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in HVAC systems, DDC panels, and MEP installations.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for motors, actuators, sensors, VFDs, and control circuits.

• Use multimeters, clamp meters, meggers, and BMS tools to identify faults and perform rectification.

• Troubleshoot equipment start/stop sequences, alarms, and control loop issues.

4. Control Systems & Panels

• Install and terminate MCC panels, starter panels, VFD panels, and HVAC control panels.

• Interpret control wiring diagrams, panel schedules, and electrical single-line diagrams.

• Connect control wiring to HVAC equipment as per DDC or BMS interface requirements.

5. Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Perform insulation resistance tests, continuity tests, polarity checks, and other electrical verifications.

• Ensure all works meet project specifications, QA/QC requirements, and local authority regulations.

• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and QA/QC inspectors for inspections and approvals.

6. Coordination & Site Execution

• Coordinate with HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing, and BMS teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.

• Assist in site surveys, material estimation, and monitoring site execution activities.

• Report daily progress, issues, and completed works to supervisors or engineers.

7. Safety & Documentation

• Follow strict safety practices including LOTO, PPE usage, and electrical safety codes.

• Maintain proper records of testing results, control points, cable schedules, and completed works.

• Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are used and stored safely.

• Any other reports or tasks as directed by the Management as and when required.

Salary & emoluments: 1600-2300 SAR + FATI by Company as per Saudi Laws.
