Job Vacancy: Chemical Engineer (Chemical Cleaning & Hydro-Jetting Specialist)

Location: Saudi Arabia, Dammam

We are looking for an experienced Chemical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in chemical cleaning, hydro jetting, pipe cleaning, tank cleaning, and industrial decontamination. This role is crucial for supporting our maintenance, shutdown, and industrial service projects across various locations

Key Responsibilities

Perform and supervise chemical cleaning, degreasing, and descaling operations for tanks, heat exchangers, pipelines, and industrial equipment.

Execute hydro jetting/high-pressure water jetting activities safely and efficiently.

Conduct pipeline cleaning, flushing, and pickling.

Lead and participate in industrial decontamination and waste treatment operations.

Prepare proper chemical dosing calculations, cleaning procedures, and safety documentation.

Ensure strict compliance with HSE standards, chemical handling protocols, and confined-space requirements.

Coordinate with clients, supervisors, and technicians to ensure smooth execution of all cleaning activities.

Prepare job reports, MSDS reviews, method statements, and technical assessments.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (Mandatory).

Minimum 3–5 years experience in chemical cleaning, hydro jetting, and industrial decontamination.

Strong understanding of chemicals used in cleaning processes (alkaline, acidic, solvents).

Previous experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or maritime sectors.

Knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessments, and safe work procedures.

Ability to lead teams and supervise technicians during site operations.

Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
