Design Engineer (Civil – RTR Piping Projects) in Khobar

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer (Civil) to join our team for RTR (Reinforced Thermosetting Resin) piping installation projects.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing all design and drafting deliverables from tender stage to as-built, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with project and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and revise RTR piping layouts, isometric drawings, and support details for Tender, IFC, Shop, and As-Built stages.

Develop detailed installation drawings showing alignment, elevations, trench sections, joint details, and fittings.

Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, RTR manufacturer standards, and client requirements.

Convert tender drawings into detailed construction-level shop drawings for site execution.

Manage and deliver drawings in DWG, PDF, and IFC formats, maintaining proper version control and documentation.

Coordinate with design, site, and QA/QC teams to ensure drawings reflect actual project requirements and changes.

Support the site team in resolving technical issues related to drawings and installations.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).

4–8 years of experience in RTR/GRP/FRP piping or infrastructure projects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, and familiarity with Revit/BIM is a plus.

Strong understanding of RTR piping standards, materials, and installation practices.

Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and coordination skills.

Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple drawing revisions.
