Estimation Engineer ( Civil) in Riyadh

Job Responsibilities:

Project Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, including labor, materials, and overheads.

Tendering & Bidding: Develop competitive bids and proposals based on project specifications.

Quantity Takeoff: Review blueprints and specifications to determine material quantities and costs.

Budget Analysis: Assess budgets and recommend cost-saving strategies.

Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination: Obtain quotations and negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.

Cost Tracking & Reporting: Maintain accurate project cost records and prepare financial reports.

Compliance: Ensure all estimates align with industry standards, regulations, and contractual obligations.

Receive, review and study of tender documents including terms and conditions, scope of work, drawings and bill of quantities and specifications.

Collect, coordinate the prepare of bid queries.

Prepare and estimate of all direct costs including workmanship, equipment, materials and others for its final review and approval by the upper management.

Prepare, coordinate and send RFQ’s and collect quotations from vendors and compare cost/price of materials and equipment and evaluate them against tender specifications.

Prepare technical proposal and presentations.

Attend site visits, pre and post tender meetings with the clients and consultants.

Prepare quantities take offs and breakdown of costs.

Receive, review of Q&A’s, addendums, amendments including specification, drawings and other information and reflect them into the project estimates.

Prepare or assist in preparing the time schedule and cash flow charts,

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

5 to 10 years of experience in Estimation (Civil).

Prior experience in a construction/general contracting company with a strong civil background.

Experience in Saudi Arabia is mandatory.

Strong knowledge of estimation software and MS Office

Excellent command of related computer software such as AutoCAD, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Adobe, P6 …etc.

V.Good command of English language (writing & speaking)

Have Previous experience in High rise buildings, Hotels, Malls, Compounds, hospitality projects.

Having previous experience at site is preferred
