Senior Project Engineer in Manama

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and execute site activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Coordinate with the project manager, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth progress of work on site.

Monitor daily construction activities, manpower, materials, and equipment to achieve planned progress and maintain productivity.

Ensure that all civil and structural works are carried out in compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and contract requirements.

Conduct inspections and measurements to verify work completion and compliance with design and technical specifications.

Assist in reviewing and interpreting IFC drawings, shop drawings, and method statements to ensure constructability and technical accuracy.

Prepare daily site progress reports, inspection requests (IRs), and maintain updated site documentation and logs.

Highlight technical or site-related issues and coordinate with senior engineers and consultants for timely resolution.

Assist in quantity take-offs and material requisitions based on project requirements and site progress.

Ensure proper implementation of QA/QC and HSE procedures to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Participate in coordination meetings and contribute to planning upcoming works to align with project milestones.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

8-12 years of hands-on experience in site supervision and execution of civil and structural works (GCC experience preferred).

Good knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and site management practices.

Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and familiar with project planning software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.

Strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and local construction standards.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and coordination abilities with multidisciplinary teams.

Committed to maintaining quality, safety, and timely project delivery.

Valid GCC driving license is an added advantage.
