Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Civil QA/QC Engineer to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing, inspecting, and ensuring that all civil and structural works related to the new 230 kV High Voltage Gantries and associated equipment foundations comply with the project's scope of work, Saudi Aramco standards, and international quality codes.
This role requires a mandatory Saudi Aramco approval and proven experience in OHTL and high-voltage substation projects, with specific expertise in steel structures, reinforced concrete, and excavation works.
Technical Skills
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
Mandatory: Must possess current or previous approval as a Civil QA/QC Inspector/Engineer from Saudi Aramco. (Please provide Aramco SAP/ID Number).
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a QA/QC role within the oil & gas, power, or heavy industrial construction sectors.
Expertise in reading and interpreting complex civil and structural engineering drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports.
Mandatory: Demonstrable experience working on Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) and High-Voltage (HV) Substation projects.
In-depth, hands-on knowledge of inspection procedures for large-scale excavation, mass concrete foundations, and heavy steel structure erection.
Thorough understanding of international codes and standards such as ACI, AISC, ASTM, and extensive experience with relevant Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES).
Possession of certifications such as Certified Welding Inspector (AWS-CWI or CSWIP 3.1) or ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician is highly advantageous.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum 3–7 years experience in QA/QC for civil/infra/construction projects
Strong knowledge of ISO standards, ITP, QC procedures, and documentation
SAP / Aramco / Saudi Experience (if required – optional to mention)
Valid Transferable Iqama (for KSA only)
Excellent communication and reporting skills
