MEP SUPERVISOR- CONSTRUCTION in Manama

The MEP Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works at the construction site. The role ensures that all MEP activities are completed on time, within quality standards, and in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.

1. Site Supervision & Execution

Supervise daily MEP activities including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Drainage, Firefighting, and Low-Voltage systems.

Ensure all installations follow approved shop drawings, specifications, and method statements.

Conduct site inspections and monitor manpower productivity.

Resolve site-related technical issues in coordination with the MEP Engineer.

2. Coordination

Coordinate with civil, finishing, and structural teams to avoid conflicts.

Liaise with subcontractors and ensure timely execution of works.

Coordinate with the QA/QC team and consultants for inspections (IR/MIR).

Ensure MEP clearances are given before closing ceilings, walls, and flooring.

3. Material & Tools Management

Check material availability and raise material requests when required.

Ensure proper storage, handling, and usage of MEP tools, equipment, and materials.

Verify delivered materials for compliance with approved specifications.

4. Quality & Safety

Ensure all MEP works comply with quality standards and project specifications.

Identify defects, reworks, and ensure corrective actions are taken.

Enforce safety procedures and ensure workers follow PPE requirements.

Report unsafe practices or equipment immediately.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare daily progress reports and manpower allocation reports.

Keep logs of completed works, inspections, and material usage.

Update the MEP Engineer and Project Manager with progress and issues.

???? Skills & Qualifications

Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

3–7 years of MEP supervision experience in construction or fit-out projects.

Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems.

Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and schematics.

Good communication, leadership, and coordination skills.

Basic computer skills (MS Office, AutoCAD preferred).
