Accountant in Manama

Full job description

The Accountant will work closely with the Corporate management along with HR department and take responsibility for performing the day-to-day tasks associated with recording and analyzing various entries related to the financial statements for multiple restaurant locations.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Handle tax filings and liaise with auditors.

Conduct financial analysis to support business planning and decision-making.

Monitor cash flow and manage accounts payable/receivable.

Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

Collaborate with HR department to facilitate Salaries

Manage Tamkeen, Sio and LMRA payments with collaboration of HR Department.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.

Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience in Food and beverages sectors (Fine dining restaurants).

In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and standards.

Proficient with accounting software and MS Office Suite.
