Job Purpose

The Safety Officer will support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Company’s Health, Safety, Environment, and Welfare (HSEW) management system. This role is ideal for a motivated and passionate candidate who is eager to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in QHSE.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing, implementing, and updating HSE policies, procedures, and safety manuals in line with applicable regulations and company standards.

Monitor and ensure compliance with QHSEW requirements across all company employees and operations.

Conduct basic site inspections, safety observations, and risk assessments, and report findings to management.

Support incident reporting, investigation, and corrective/preventive action tracking.

Promote a positive safety culture through awareness programs, toolbox talks, and training initiatives.

Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.

Coordinate with supervisors and management to address safety-related issues and improvements.

Candidate Profile

Beginner or intermediate-level HSE professional.

Strong passion and interest in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).

Willingness to learn, develop, and take on increasing responsibilities.

Basic knowledge of safety regulations, procedures, and best practices (preferred).

Good communication and organizational skills.

Proactive, disciplined, and committed to safety excellence.
