Freight Forwarding & Operations Coordinator – Digital Logistics Platform in Jeddah

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Jeddah.

We are specifically looking for a candidate with practical experience in freight forwarding, shipping, customs clearance, warehousing, or transport operations. The role requires a solid understanding of how logistics service providers operate, including pricing models, workflows, and service delivery timelines.

The Vendor Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for identifying and onboarding logistics vendors, ensuring their operational readiness, and coordinating daily activities to support smooth platform operations.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Acquisition

• Identify and engage logistics service providers (customs brokers, warehouses, transport companies).

• Present the platform’s value proposition and secure provider participation.

• Build and maintain a structured pipeline of qualified vendors.

Onboarding & Activation

• Collect required documents, pricing, and service details.

• Guide providers through account setup and ensure full activation.

• Validate readiness before vendors begin receiving service requests.

Operations Coordination

• Monitor vendor activity and ensure timely responses to customer requests.

• Follow up on operational issues and maintain strong communication.

• Support workflow improvements and performance consistency.

Reporting

• Prepare weekly updates on vendor acquisition, activation status, and performance metrics.

Requirements

• Mandatory experience in freight forwarding, shipping, customs clearance, warehousing, or transport operations.

• Strong vendor relationship management and negotiation skills.

• Understanding of logistics workflows (pickup, delivery, SLAs, transit times, etc.).

• Experience with TMS/WMS or digital logistics solutions is a plus.

• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.

• Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.

Compensation

Base Salary: 3,000 – 4,000 SAR per month
