Hiring: Quantity Surveyor (3–6 Years Experience) – Saudi Arabia in Jubail

Quantity Surveyor

Job Description:

Review architectural, structural, plumbing, etc. plans and prepare BOM

Prepare tentative BOM at initial stage of the project to help procurement in arranging the materials before the actual execution of the projects

Estimate the quantity for the modifications and costs of materials

suggest materials and coordinate with procurement and contractors

maintain all work in the factory & site

coordinate with architect and structural designers and detailers to avoid any conflicts

Analyze costs for maintenance and additional building needs

Track changes in plans or constructions; update quantities

Keep track of construction materials and inventory

Identify potential financial or construction risks

Advise clients on improvements, strategies, and/or estimated costs

Document progress, materials, and reports on project

Source maintenance costs and facilities management for clients

Utilize software to calculate, record, and track inventory and estimates

Analyze completed projects to determine ROI and compare costs

knowledge of local standards, materials and testing instruments

Deal with problems that might come up during fabrication & construction

Requirements:

Education : Bachelor / Diploma in Associate Civil or Mechanical Engineering

Experience : 3-6 years

Age : 25-35 years

Skills:

The candidate must be very knowledgeable in design and drafting software such as:

Plumbing design software

AutoCAD

Revit MEP is a plus

Sketchup Pro is a plus

Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook

In-depth understanding of construction, materials, pricing, and industry

Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
