Draftsman- Construction in Manama

Job Summary-

The Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings and detailed plans for construction projects, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and revise architectural, structural, and MEP drawings as required

Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings

Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and approved standards

Coordinate with engineers, site teams, and consultants for drawing requirements

Update drawings based on site changes and consultant comments

Maintain proper records and drawing registers

Ensure timely submission of drawings as per project schedule

Assist in quantity take-offs and basic design support if required

Requirements & Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering / Drafting / Architecture

3–6 years of experience as a Draftsman in construction projects

Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit is an advantage)

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Experience in shop drawings and as-built documentation

Skills & Competencies

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good coordination and communication skills

Time management and ability to meet deadlines

Knowledge of construction standards and drafting practices
