Mechanical Procurement Engineer in Jeddah

Key Accountabilities:

• Develop the procurement logs from scratch by thoroughly reviewing the drawings, specifications, and BOQ.

• Identify, evaluate, and qualify reliable local and international suppliers and manufacturers specializing in fit-out mechanical systems.

• Review and interpret Mechanical Bill of Quantities (BOQs), specifications, and approved Material Submittals (MS) to ensure all materials quoted meet engineering, quality, and aesthetic standards.

• Verify that all procured equipment and fixtures comply with relevant international standards.

• Coordinate closely with the design, technical, and site teams to resolve technical conflicts or material substitutions, ensuring zero impact on installation schedules or system performance.

• Organize necessary training or documentation from suppliers for post-installation Testing and Commissioning (T&C) teams.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Key Job Specifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Skills: Mechanical drawing interpretation, Piping and Instrumentation Diagram interpretation, HVAC schedules, and Bill of Quantities review.

Experience: 5+ years of related experience.
