Inventory Controller in Abqaiq

Responsibilities / Job Duties:

Including but not limited to the following:

• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all inventory items, monitor stock levels, and ensure timely replenishment to avoid shortages or excess inventory.

• Stock Audits: Conduct regular physical inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records, and investigate causes for any variances.

• Data Entry and Record Keeping: Enter inventory transactions (receipts, transfers, shipments) into inventory management systems and keep documentation organized and up to date.

• Order Coordination: Collaborate with purchasing and sales departments to coordinate orders, deliveries, and returns, ensuring inventory aligns with business needs.

• Loss Prevention: Implement procedures to minimize damage, theft, and loss of inventory, and report any incidents promptly.

• Inventory Analysis: Analyze inventory trends, forecast demand, and provide recommendations for optimizing stock levels and reducing holding costs.

• System Maintenance: Ensure inventory management software and systems are properly maintained, updated, and utilized to their full capability.

• Compliance: Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to inventory handling and documentation.

• Reporting: Prepare and present regular inventory reports to management, highlighting key metrics, issues, and actionable insights.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff, logistics teams, and other departments to ensure smooth inventory operations.

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures.

• Train new staff on inventory protocols and systems.

• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.

• Respond to inquiries about inventory status from internal and external stakeholders.
