Role: Inside Sales Engineer
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Logging all bids received from client portals/emails and sorting them.
• Handle inbound inquiries from customers and provide technical and commercial support.
• Prepare costing sheets and issue quotations, proposals, and tenders
• Registering with new customers as a vendor.
• Follow up with customers to drive closure of offers and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain and update CRM/database with sales opportunities, quotations, and customer interactions.
• Collaborate with management to identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts regularly.
• Interpret technical specifications and customer requirements to recommend suitable products/solutions.
• Support bid preparation, contract review, and compliance with industry standards.
• Liaise with operations and logistics to ensure order execution as per timelines.
• Ensure all activities are aligned with company’s commercial policies, profitability targets, and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
● 2–5 years of experience in inside/technical sales, or application engineering (preferably in utilities, energy, or industrial sector).
● Strong understanding of power, water, gas, or renewable energy systems and equipment.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers and management.
● Proficiency in MS Office, ERP/CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, SAP).
● Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, datasheets, and specifications.
● Strong commercial acumen and customer service orientation.
● Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
