Draftsman – Civil in Manama

Key Responsibilities

Assist in creating, updating, and managing BIM models in accordance with approved BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and company procedures.

Develop 3D models, drawings, and construction documentation to support design development, tender submissions, and site execution.

Coordinate BIM inputs received from consultants, designers, and subcontractors to ensure model accuracy and interdisciplinary alignment.

Support clash detection, model reviews, and coordination workshops under the supervision of senior BIM personnel.

Maintain and update BIM models to reflect design changes, client comments, and site modifications, including as-built information.

Generate 2D drawings, schedules, quantities, and reports extracted from BIM models as required by project teams.

Ensure proper organization, version control, and documentation of BIM files, templates, and libraries.

Liaise with architects, engineers, and site teams to address modeling, coordination, and constructability issues.

Adhere to company BIM workflows, quality standards, and local authority regulations.

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to BIM processes, automation, and digital delivery.

Qualifications & Competencies

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

1–3 years of experience in BIM modeling, drafting, or coordination within the construction or consultancy sector.

Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD; familiarity with Navisworks, Dynamo, or similar tools is an advantage.

Basic understanding of BIM standards, Level of Development (LOD), and coordination methodologies.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and well-organized models and drawings.

Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary project teams.

Knowledge of local construction standards and authority submission requirements (Bahrain or GCC experience preferred).
