Accountant Female in Jeddah

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of accounting experience to manage daily accounting operations, financial records, reconciliations, reports, and compliance requirements. The candidate must have strong knowledge of accounting standards, VAT, financial reporting, and ERP/accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and ensure proper recording in the accounting system.

• Prepare and review journal entries, payment vouchers, receipt vouchers, and general ledger entries.

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and vendor/customer reconciliations.

• Monitor cash flow, outstanding balances, and payment schedules.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.

• Support the preparation of balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow reports.

• Ensure compliance with VAT, ZATCA requirements, and related financial regulations.

• Prepare VAT returns and coordinate with external tax advisors when required.

• Assist in payroll review, employee settlements, and related accounting entries.

• Maintain accurate documentation for invoices, contracts, payments, and financial records.

• Coordinate with external auditors and provide required supporting documents.

• Review expenses and ensure proper cost allocation.

• Support management with financial analysis, reports, and recommendations.

• Ensure all accounting activities follow company policies and internal controls.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting.

• Strong knowledge of financial statements, reconciliations, VAT, and general ledger accounting.

• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Odoo, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar.

• Good knowledge of Saudi VAT and ZATCA requirements.

• Strong Excel skills.

• Ability to prepare accurate reports and meet deadlines.

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Arabic and English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC market.

• Professional certification such as SOCPA, ACCA, CMA, or CPA is an advantage.

• Experience in contracting, trading, manufacturing, or service companies is preferred.
