Job Title: Procurement Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to oversee all purchasing and sourcing activities for the company. The ideal candidate will ensure the timely procurement of high-quality materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices while maintaining strong vendor relationships. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, market awareness, and the ability to manage procurement processes from sourcing to contract finalization. The Procurement Manager will work closely with the operations, finance, and project teams to ensure smooth and cost-efficient supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
Source reliable suppliers and vendors for materials, equipment, and services.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to achieve cost savings.
Maintain updated supplier databases and build long-term vendor relationships.
Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier performance.
Ensure timely purchase of materials to support ongoing operations and projects.
Prepare purchase orders and ensure compliance with internal policies.
Coordinate with internal departments to forecast needs and manage inventory levels.
Review invoices and resolve purchase-related discrepancies.
Assess risks, analyze bids, and recommend award decisions.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Solid understanding of market trends, vendor management, and pricing strategies.
Experience in construction, heavy equipment, logistics, or related industries is a plus.
Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
