Qa/Qc Civil Inspector in Riyadh

I am writing to express my interest in the position of Civil Quality Control (QC) Inspector in your esteemed organization. I hold a background in Civil Engineering with strong experience in site quality control, QA/QC documentation, and inspection activities across civil construction and interior fit-out projects.

In my previous roles, I have been responsible for a wide range of QA/QC duties in civil works, including earthworks, concrete works (foundations, slabs, and columns), steel structures, and architectural finishes, as well as interior fit-out activities.

My key responsibilities include:

– Conducting site inspections to ensure all civil and fit-out works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards

– Reviewing and implementing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for all construction activities

– Preparing and executing Method Statements (MS) for civil, structural, and fit-out works

– Handling Material Approval Submissions (MAS) for civil and finishing materials such as concrete materials, reinforcement steel, structural steel, gypsum, paint, tiles, joinery, ceilings, and other finishes

– Raising and managing Material Inspection Requests (MIR) for incoming materials

– Conducting and closing Work Inspection Requests (WIR) for earthworks, concrete works (foundations, slabs, columns), steel structures, and finishing works including partitions, ceilings, flooring, and architectural finishes

– Identifying quality deviations and issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions

– Preparing Site Observation Reports (SOR) and ensuring timely closure of all quality issues

– Coordinating with consultants, contractors, and site teams for inspections, approvals, and technical clarifications

– Ensuring compliance with QA/QC procedures, Project Quality Plans (PQP), ITPs, Method Statements, and project specifications

– Carrying out and witnessing various civil and structural tests including concrete tests (slump test, cube compressive strength test), soil tests (compaction, field density, Proctor test), aggregate tests (sieve analysis, impact and abrasion tests), and reinforcement steel tests (tensile, yield, bend & re-bend tests)

– Performing quality checks on finishes and fit-out works such as gypsum board installation, paint application and adhesion, tile alignment, waterproofing, and final finishing inspections

– Maintaining complete QA/QC documentation including test reports, MIR/WIR logs, NCR registers, and inspection records in accordance with project requirements
