Senior Oracle APEX Developer in Manama

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Oracle APEX Developer to join our team. The company specializes in custom software and large-scale ERP development. We need a versatile expert who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for the full-stack delivery of complex, scalable applications—from database architecture to high-end UI/UX implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using Oracle APEX (all versions, including 23.x/24.x).

• Backend Architecture: Write complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers. Optimize SQL queries for maximum performance within large-scale ERP environments.

• Frontend Excellence: Customizing APEX applications using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery. Experience with Universal Theme and creating custom templates is essential.

• Integration: Develop and consume RESTful Web Services (ORDS) to integrate APEX with third-party systems and ERP modules.

• Custom ERP Solutions: Lead the development of custom modules for financial, HR, or supply chain systems, ensuring data integrity and security.

• Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and conduct code reviews for junior developers to ensure best practices are followed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience dedicated to Oracle APEX development.

• Core Technical Stack:

o Expertise in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL.

o Deep knowledge of Oracle APEX APIs and Collections.

o Proficiency in modern frontend technologies (JavaScript, CSS, JSON).

• Hands-on experience with SQL Developer, TOAD, or Data Modeler.

• Strong understanding of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, prototyping, testing, and deployment.

• Ability to debug complex issues and provide performance tuning for both the database and the application layer.
