ASSISTANT MANAGER (HARD SERVICES) in Manama

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Assistant Manager – Hard Services to join our facilities management team immediately. The ideal candidate is currently in Bahrain and available to start right away. This role involves overseeing the maintenance and operation of all hard services systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and other technical building services, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Hard Services Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring all hard services operations.

Supervise the day-to-day activities of technicians, electricians, plumbers, and other technical staff.

Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance schedules are followed for all building systems.

Monitor performance of equipment and systems, identifying faults or inefficiencies.

Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance or repair works.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Prepare reports on maintenance activities, asset performance, and service costs.

Support budgeting, procurement, and inventory management for hard services operations.

Train, mentor, and evaluate technical staff performance.

Requirements

Proven experience in facilities management, specifically in hard services (residential, commercial, or industrial).

Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems.

Ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.

Knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory standards in Bahrain.

Strong communication and reporting skills.

Currently based in Bahrain and available for immediate joining.

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.

Certification in facilities management (FMP, CFM) or technical trade certifications.

Experience in large-scale commercial or industrial facilities.
