Trading Accountant vacancy

A trading company is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant. Responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform all accounting operations, including recording and keeping the day-to-day financial movements transactions. Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports. Monitor accounts payable and receivable. Support the month-end and year-end close process. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Comply with local government reporting requirements and tax filings. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Participating in the annual budget preparation process; Liaise with vendors, clients, and regulatory bodies as needed. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a reputable company. Strong understanding of general trading workflows. Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Native Arabic speaker with excellent professional English. Solid experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end closing process. Ability to manage deadlines and perform well under pressure. Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and reliable follow-up. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills Demonstrates confidentiality, professional communication, and independent decision-making.
