（LV Electrical Engineer） Job Description

1.Job Title

（LV Electrical Engineer for Outdoor Landscape & Street Lighting）

2.Location

Saudi Arabia (Project-based assignment)

3.Position Summary

Responsible for the low-voltage electrical design coordination, construction guidance, installation, commissioning, and on-site technical support of outdoor landscape lighting and street lighting systems. Lead the work arrangement and skill guidance of the construction team, ensure the project complies with relevant low-voltage electrical specifications, project technical requirements and local industry standards, and guarantee the project quality, safety and progress meet the set standards.

4.Education Requirements

-Major in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields

-Diploma or above (Bachelor’s degree preferred)

5.Technical Skills Requirements

· Familiar with 0.4kV low-voltage power distribution systems, and proficient in the electrical principles, wiring specifications and installation processes of outdoor landscape lighting and street lighting systems

· Able to independently read and review electrical construction drawings, compile low-voltage electrical construction technical schemes, safety disclosure documents and operation instructions

· Familiar with lighting equipment such as landscape lights, street lights, floodlights, and low-voltage electrical components such as circuit breakers, contactors, frequency converters, time switches (mainstream brands like ABB, Schneider, Siemens are preferred)

· Master core technologies such as low-voltage electrical equipment selection, cable selection, line laying, grounding and lightning protection design

· Capable of basic electrical calculations including voltage drop, load calculation, short-circuit current, and solving technical problems during construction

· Familiar with IEC, local low-voltage electrical construction specifications and project special technical standards

· Possess on-site construction guidance capabilities, able to accurately arrange workers’ operation processes, standardize operation details and conduct skill training

6.Experience Requirements

· 2-5 years of experience in low-voltage electrical construction technology management of outdoor landscape lighting, street lighting projects or related fields

· Experience in on-site guidance, work arrangement and skill training of construction teams, able to effectively coordinate workers for efficient construction

· Experience in low-voltage electrical construction of projects or similar large-scale outdoor projects is preferred

· Familiar with the construction process and safety control points of outdoor projects (outdoor work, complex terrain) is preferred

7.Certification Requirements

· Possession of low-voltage electrician certificate and relevant professional qualification certificates of electrical engineer is preferred

· Safety certificates such as OSHA, NEBOSH, First Aid are advantages

· Valid driving license, able to adapt to commuting needs at the project site

8.Language Skills

-Proficient in English (technical reading and cross-cultural communication)

-Arabic language skills are a plus but not required

9.Soft Skills

· Possess strong on-site construction guidance capabilities, able to clearly issue operation instructions and standardize workers’ operations

· Good communication and coordination skills, able to work efficiently with construction teams, owners, supervisors and cross-departmental teams

· Able to adapt to outdoor on-site working environment (high temperature, outdoor work, rush work, etc.)

· Strong sense of responsibility and outstanding pressure resistance, able to independently solve sudden technical problems during construction

10.Key Responsibilities

· Responsible for the construction guidance of the low-voltage electrical system of outdoor landscape and street lighting projects, arrange workers’ work plans, supervise implementation and standardize construction processes

· Participate in the review of electrical construction drawings and preparation of technical schemes, conduct technical disclosure and safety training for the construction team

· Guide workers in operations such as low-voltage distribution cabinet installation, cable laying, lighting equipment installation, grounding and lightning protection construction

· Responsible for on-site installation, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of low-voltage electrical equipment to ensure normal operation of equipment

· Supervise the construction process to ensure compliance with IEC, local low-voltage electrical specifications and project technical requirements

· Coordinate communication with project managers, design units, suppliers, supervisors and construction teams to resolve on-site technical disputes

· Record technical data and project progress during construction, and compile relevant technical reports and completion data
