Construction Project Engineer in Manama

Job Description

•Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to execute projects in line with approved plans and budgets

•Oversee and manage day-to-day construction operations across multiple sites

•Develop, update, and track detailed project schedules using project management tools

•Control and monitor project budgets and timelines, proactively addressing potential risks

•Lead and supervise site teams and labor, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality practices

•Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards

•Manage change orders, variations, and deviations from approved project plans

•Maintain consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders

•Ensure accurate documentation of daily reports, site logs, progress tracking, and meeting minutes

•Supervise material and equipment procurement to ensure timely availability and avoid delays

•Address technical and operational issues swiftly to ensure smooth execution.

Qualifications & Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline

•8-10 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry

•Experience working with Grade A or B contracting companies

•Proven experience in high-rise buildings, villas, and multi-site project handling

•Hands-on experience managing large workforces (300+ employees)

•Strong knowledge across technical, financial, and administrative areas of construction

•Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage high-value, deadline-driven projects

•Must have the capability to set up and manage a new department or operational unit

•Excellent problem-solving skills and a decisive leadership approach

•Valid driver’s license is mandatory

•Construction contracting background only (Consulting experience is not applicable)
