Job Opening For Sr. Planning Engineer – Engineering Consultant Exp in Riyadh

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Scheduling

Develop detailed baseline schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent tools.

Prepare work breakdown structures (WBS) and integrate cost and resource plans.

Ensure alignment of schedules with contract requirements and project milestones.

Progress Monitoring

Track and update project progress against the baseline.

Analyze variances and prepare recovery plans when delays occur.

Generate weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.

Coordination

Liaise with design teams, contractors, and PMC teams to ensure schedule adherence.

Review contractors’ schedules and provide recommendations for improvement.

Risk Analysis

Perform schedule risk analysis and identify critical paths.

Recommend mitigation strategies for potential delays.

Claims & Extension of Time (EOT)

Support preparation of delay analysis reports and EOT claims.

Maintain accurate records for contractual compliance.

Tools & Standards

Utilize Primavera P6, MS Project, and other planning tools.

Ensure compliance with international standards and client requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Experience:

Minimum 10+ years in planning roles, with 5+ years on luxury hotel and high-rise projects.

Experience in PMC or client-side roles preferred.

Certifications: PMP or PMI-SP is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel (advanced).

Strong understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing.
