Information Technology Specialist in Riyadh

Key Responsibilities:

– Administer, monitor, and maintain Windows/Linux servers and associated services.

– Manage network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) and ensure optimal performance and security.

– Provide Tier‑1 and Tier‑2 technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

– Implement and enforce IT security policies, including anti‑virus, patch management, and access controls.

– Assist in the design and deployment of IoT/IIoT solutions in collaboration with project teams.

– Conduct regular system backups, disaster‑recovery testing, and documentation of procedures.

– Maintain accurate inventory of hardware, software licenses, and network assets.

– Collaborate with vendors for procurement, warranty claims, and service contracts.

– Provide training and guidance to end‑users on best practices and new technologies.

Participate in after‑hours on‑call rotation for critical incident resolution.

Essential Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

– Proven experience (3 years) in IT Systems and Network Administration.

– Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and firewall management.

– Hands‑on experience with system administration on Windows and Linux platforms.

– Excellent problem‑solving and technical troubleshooting skills.

– Good communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Location

Eastern Province, Qasim, Jouf, Hail, Madinah, Makkah, Tabuk, Najran, Jazan, Aseer, Northern Borders.

Desired Experience & Skills

– Experience supporting IoT or IIoT deployments.

– Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).

– Certification such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft MCSA is advantageous.

– Understanding of ITIL or similar service‑management frameworks.

Salary & Benefits

Annual salary of SAR 8,000.

Contract period: 36 Months
