Operation Supervisor

Operation Supervisor – To effectively manage a team and ensure the provision of services within the department are in line with Service needs.
– To establish, implement and maintain effective procedures and administrative systems including day-to-day financial administration and contributing to administrative planning for the function.
– To represent the department/function at meetings and act as Service representative for initiatives as required.
– To undertake project tasks or more specialized administrative work relating to the specific function or department.
– To manage the collection, maintenance and integrity of data within Service systems and ensure the timely and accurate provision of information.
– Supervise and Mange the operation routes and Vehicle
Mange the emergency situations with Bravely and responsible

Specific Responsibilities:
– Supervise the Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Team ensuring the Team meets all performance measures agreed with the Department Manager.
– Ensure effective task prioritization, scheduling, allocation, delivery, administration, trouble shooting, diagnosis problems, budgeting and work record keeping.
– Ensure all work is delivered to the required standard, in the required time and in the most efficient manner possible.
– Responsible for all first line staff supervision including Personal Development and Performance Reviews, initial discipline and initial grievance.
– Ensure parts are ordered in a timely manner and stock is kept at required levels and fully accounted for.
– In conjunction with the Department Manager ensure all Team staff receives the necessary training both initial and ongoing.
– Work as part of the Workshop Team when required to maintain and repair Service Vehicles to ensure they remain fit for purpose and available when required. Develop and Schedule the preventive maintenance works and follow up with preventive maintenance team.
– Ensure all workshop health and safety policies and procedures are followed and all necessary records are kept.
– Cover for other team members when required.
